Homemade Beef Burgers With Simple Salsa
A really quick and easy burger recipe with an easy to make fresh salsa that everyone will love!
Ingredients:
For the burgers
500g Lean minced beef
1 onion, finely chopped
1 clove of garlic, peeled and crushed
Small handful of parsley, finely chopped
1 egg, beaten
For the salsa
1 red onion, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, deseeded and finely chopped
Small handful of parsley, finely chopped
Juice of one lime
Method:
- Mix the mince beef with the onion, garlic, parsley and egg until combined. Divide into 6 and shape into patties.
- Heat a non stick pan to medium-high with a little oil and cook until juices run clear, flipping regularly. (4-6 mins)
- Whilst the burgers cook combine the ingredients for the salsa and leave to stand.
- Serve the burgers in toasted buns with some salad and your favourite cheese topped with the fresh salsa. (you could add in some crispy bacon too... because bacon makes everything better!)
